Member-only story
I was chatting with a friend last night.
He’s been a pilot in the military his whole life.
He owns his own property here too.
I said, “Look at how much you’ve achieved!”
Instantly, he replied how he feel he does not have enough.
He lamented how he had to go through a divorce.
How he has to pay off his housing and car.
How his “only” skill is flying a plane.
Damn.
I guess we all always think somehow, we never do enough.
That’s when he said you should focus on what makes you happy despite how much you earn or own.
