Trying Your Best Doesn’t Mean Miracles

When you’re trying your best, you’re simply doing a few simple things:

  • You do what you know.
  • You carry out what needs to be done.
  • You feel that pinch somewhat as you fight against the tediousness.
  • You learn something new.

If you’re lucky, you get to feel inspired along the way as you create your best work, thus knowing you’re truly doing what you love.

Trying your best doesn’t mean miracles will happen.

It is not an overnight solution.

It doesn’t mean big results will come instantly.

It doesn’t mean you will be on the same level as other successful people out there.

It doesn’t even mean that you’ll feel a sense of progression.

In fact, you may continue to feel downright lost.

But it’s okay.

Because you’ve tried your best.

And that’s all you can ever do.

Do not worry so much about the results. Do not compare yourself with others. Do not expect big things to happen so quickly.

You’re still in the right direction.

Go back to bed. It’s been a long day.

Wake up tomorrow and start trying your best again.
