This Fucked Up Journey Of Mine (I Hope You Can 1% Your Life Every Day)
Spoiler alert: This may not be as inspirational as you think.
I started my journey as an entrepreneur over a decade ago.
Indeed, I executed the whole “quit my job to follow a dream” thing. I was only 26 then.
I was somewhat fresh out of university and decided quickly that I wanted to do my own thing. I wanted to be a writer on my own terms and make big bucks out of it.
Back then, internet marketing was the whole craze. Making money online seemed easy as fuck.
I started my first blog www.Alden-Tan.com, a blog on personal development. I told myself, and others that I only wanted to help them because I knew what the pain of losing someone was like (I lost my dad at a young age.)
But truthfully, at its core, I just wanted to become rich and start living like a baller. Because life is too short to be mediocre, right?
I wrote, and I wrote and I wrote.
I learnt by diving deep into personal development, believing that I was “out of the matrix” and living a meaningful life simply because I wasn’t working a normal job like the “sheeple” out there.
