The Problem With Going Viral

Ever read an interview of a random guy who went viral online?

It almost usually starts with, “I didn’t expect to go viral. It just happened.”

Then they start talking out of their asses as if they knew what they were doing when in reality, they didn’t.

That’s the big problem with going viral these days. Viral is supposedly hot. It’s the milestone every person or entity wants to achieve. It’s the big problem-solver that brings you glory and fame.

Nah!

Viral is simply random as hell. The internet honestly has a mind of its own.

On the flip side, viral is also the product of careful planning and marketing.

You need passion with a plan

The reason why these viral people who don’t know shit in the first place, but managed to go viral is because they were consistent with the (random) work they like, or even love to do.

And by the powers to be, and a lot of luck, something clicked, and they went viral.

They didn’t expect it, but that’s the point: You should be doing work without expectations. You should do it because you love it.

That’s your plan so you can have your own form of consistency.
