My dad died when I was 20. He had ALS. Even though we weren’t very close, it’s a really surreal experience to see someone you grew up with get taken away like that.

Death changes the way you look at life. Everything else suddenly seems so minor and silly. That’s why I am the way I am today.

And that’s not something most can understand.

It’s okay though. After so long and having moved on, I honestly consider myself lucky to be enlightened in my own way in life.
