Man I feel this article. I felt like I was a slave to self-help when I started writing for it.

It was my “niche”, that marketing term.

When you write about something for so long you’d eventually ask yourself, “Does this shit even work?”

I sure did ask that.

How I got over it and started to improve my life was to simply just flow with it and make choices on my own. I don’t actively create time to improve myself, I just feel it in the moment.

The main problem with self-help to me is that we force feed ourselves all the information because someone else said it’s good for us, but the truth is, it may not apply to you at all.

So I only do it my way now. I follow my gut mostly.
