Is The Cure Something You Take In Or Something You Change?

When you’re depressed as hell and feeling like shit everyday, what is the cure?

Do you take medication and hope it makes your brain better?

Do you seek a therapist for knowledge that can give you hope and a sense of purpose?

Or is it about changing things around you so that your life gets better?

You could start working out.

You could eat better and drink less.

You could get out of the house more often.

You could form healthy habits like reading daily.

You could starting hanging out with better friends.

The latter worked for me. The hardest part was doing them all despite feeling like crap.

The former, not so much.

But it’s depression.

To each his own. I can’t tell you what to do and neither do I want to advocate what works for me.

Try everything I guess. It’s not a crime to.
