Interesting take. I respect your opinion, but for someone like me, an artist who just don’t enjoy marketing, I can’t say I can ever do the sell courses/coaching/affiliate stuff anymore via building an email list.

It was just riddled with too many shady tactics that really killed my soul.

I’d say that places like Medium and Steemit are the future and are helping artists everywhere.

I do however, aim to get myself traditionally published. I hope to do it one day. The way I see it, at least the literary agent and publishing house will take care of everything i.e. soul-killing stuff while I just write.

But yeah, I understand it’s just going to be just as tough and filled with questions.

That’s just life anyway yeah?
