If someone sounds too stupid to be real, it means they probably aren’t
Just as how if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
A while go, some dude added me on Facebook. He was prominent entrepreneur from around here.
I proceeded to say hi to him to make a connection. His first reply to me was that he accidentally added me on Facebook and that I was hence free to delete him.
I immediately blocked him, the first person who on the planet who doesn’t know how to add people on Facebook properly.
I related this incident to a friend, who then told me he was probably spying on me. And sure enough, he didn’t have a good reputation as a businessman.
No one is really that stupid in life. If somebody tries to get away with an extremely dumb excuse, it probably means they’re just not genuine people.
