Here’s To The Ones Almost Depressed

Trigger warning of sorts: This article touches on heavy, emotional subjects on mental health.

I am writing this for people who are in a lot of pain, but feel like they’ve no place in society, and have no voice because their pain cannot be validated on a theoretical level.

You do have a place. You do have a voice. If you feel like you want to seek help, then just go for it. There’s no shame in that.

Here’s to the ones almost depressed.

You’re not clinically depressed.

You do wonder from time to time though whether you are.

Because on certain days, just certain days, you’ve trouble getting out of bed.

You don’t want to do shit.

You can face the day ahead, but you know that it’s going to be a bad day.

You get work done, but it’s a drag.

You just want to go back to bed.

Here’s to the ones almost depressed.

There is no medicine for you to chemically help you.

There is no doctor who will take you seriously.

There is no blog article or video that speaks to you.

So you feel like fraud.
