And it potentially becomes a deal breaker when it comes to dating someone.
For me, it’s when the other party speaks too softly.
Like, I can’t hear shit most of the time. I end up going, “Sorry, what?” as I lean over.
And when my patience is exhausted, I just go, “Huh?!” and “What?!”
Then I get self-conscious about appearing rude, because then I’d be gaslighted into becoming the rude and impatient person.
I think about all these when my pet peeve emerges its ugly claws.
It’s in all of us I believe.
I don’t think you have to worry so much about being rude, sensitive or petty just because you have a pet peeve.
Everyone their own triggers. Respect that and you’ll learn why all of us are unique.
It is from here that the truly mature will adjust accordingly with society so as to not appear like an asshole and let others get them down.
